Terms of Use

These terms cover the Purra iOS app and the heypurra.com website (together, "Purra"). Purra is operated by SunEcoproducts LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using Purra you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Purra.

1. What Purra is

Purra helps you find plastic-free alternatives to everyday products. You snap a photo or describe an item, answer a few questions, and we suggest products from our vetted catalog with links to buy them from the retailer.

2. Recommendations are information, not guarantees

• We check carefully, but we can be wrong. Every product is screened against our published methodology, but manufacturers change materials, packaging and listings without telling us. Check the retailer's page before you buy if a detail matters to you.
• AI can make mistakes. Purra uses AI to recognize products in photos and to write questions and descriptions. It can misidentify an item or get a detail wrong. When we don't have a strong match, we try to say so.
• Prices, ratings and stock come from retailers and can change at any time. The price the retailer charges at checkout is the one that counts.
• Not medical advice. Purra shares published research about plastics and health for general information. It isn't medical, health, safety or professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your own situation.

3. Buying from retailers

When you tap a buy link, you leave Purra and buy directly from the retailer. We are not the seller. The retailer's own terms cover the sale, shipping, returns, warranties and product safety, and any issue with an order is between you and the retailer. Some links are affiliate links: the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never affect which products we list or how they're ranked, and brands cannot pay to be listed. See our disclosure.

4. Purra Pro subscriptions

• What you get: Purra Pro unlocks unlimited AI searches. Browsing the catalog is always free.
• Plans: Purra Pro Weekly ($4.99 per week), Purra Pro Monthly ($9.99 per month), and Purra Pro Yearly ($39.99 per year, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers). Prices are in US dollars; prices in other countries may differ, and the exact price is always shown in the app before you confirm.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancelling: manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Free trials: if you don't cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
• Offer codes: discount codes are redeemed through Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and the conditions shown when you redeem.
• Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes: if we change a subscription price, Apple will notify you in advance as its rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Using Purra fairly

You must be at least 13 years old to use Purra. Please don't:

• copy, scrape or resell our catalog, reviews or content;
• reverse engineer the app, or try to get around usage limits, the paywall or our security;
• use automated tools to send searches, or otherwise overload or disrupt the service;
• upload photos or text that are unlawful, or that you don't have the right to share.

We may limit or suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules.

6. Your photos and text

You keep ownership of anything you submit. You give us permission to process it only to run Purra: for example, to identify a product in your photo. Photos are analyzed and discarded, not stored, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Our content

The Purra name and logo, the catalog, product write-ups, guides, methodology and the app itself belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Product names and brands belong to their owners.

8. Disclaimers

Purra is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that Purra will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every product is free of plastic in every part or every batch.

9. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for products you buy from retailers. Our total liability for any claim about Purra is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Purra Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms as Purra changes. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use Purra after that means you accept the new terms. You can stop using Purra at any time, and we may stop offering Purra, or any part of it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your home country gives you rights that can't be waived.

12. If you downloaded Purra from the App Store

• These terms are between you and SunEcoproducts LLC, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Your use of the app must also follow the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
• If anyone claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country under a US government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app (for example, your mobile carrier's terms).
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, have the right to enforce them against you.
