Purra is operated by [LEGAL NAME — Dave to provide] ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Purra website and the Purra iOS app.

The website (this site)

• Waitlist email: if you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us (via our hosting provider, Netlify) and use it only to send Purra launch and early-access updates. No marketing lists are bought, sold, or shared. Unsubscribe anytime by replying to any email.
• No tracking cookies. This site sets no advertising cookies.

The app

• Photos: photos you take are sent securely to our backend, analyzed to identify the product, and never stored — they are processed in memory and discarded.
• No account required: the app works without sign-up. Your saved lists live on your device, not our servers.
• Search text: product descriptions you type are processed to find matches and may be logged in aggregate (without any identity attached) to improve which categories we cover.
• Purchases: buying happens on the retailer's own site. Some links are affiliate links; the retailer pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. The commission never affects what we recommend or how results are ranked — our methodology is public.
• Analytics: we collect anonymous usage events (e.g. "a search happened in category X") to improve the app. No personal profiles are built.

Third parties we rely on

Supabase (backend hosting), Anthropic (AI photo/text understanding — inputs are not used to train their models per our API agreement), Netlify (website + waitlist), and affiliate networks (e.g. Skimlinks) when you tap a buy link.
